Martin returns to Comp Cams Super Dirt Series at Poplar Bluff & Batesville

On Friday afternoon, Logan Martin returned to Comp Cams Super Dirt Series competition at Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park (Poplar Bluff, Mo.) for the first night of a doubleheader weekend with the series.

With a strong 35-car field on the premises, Logan qualified third-quickest in his group before running second in his heat race. Rolling off from fifth-place in the $5,000-to-win feature, Martin was running inside the Top-10 when he slowed with mechanical issues. He was scored 15th.

Trying to outrun the impending rain on Saturday at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.), Martin was once again fast in qualifying and picked up the win in his heat race before a rain shower hit the track that forced officials to postpone the Hillbilly 40 event to August 17.

Martin will follow the CCSDS to Arrowhead Speedway and Caney Valley Speedway next weekend.
