Logan Martin eighth in Hell Tour stop at I-55 Raceway

Heading to the Midwest for the weekend, Logan Martin entered his Hughes Towing No. 36 into DIRTcar Summer Nationals competition at Brownstown Bullring (Brownstown, Ill.) on Friday afternoon.

With a stacked 48 car field on hand, Logan qualified sixth-fastest in his group before picking up the win in his heat race. Rolling off from third-row in the 50-lap main event, Martin faded throughout the feature to finish just outside the Top-10 in 11th.

For another $10,000-to-win show at Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.) on Saturday, Martin moved past Austin Rettig and Stormy Scott in his heat race to score the victory. Leading the first 14 laps of the 50-lap feature, Logan slowly faded to finish inside the Top-10 in eighth.
